  2. The Academy are only sent score promos of around five or six tracks so album length is fairly irrelevant.
  3. Black ChristmasBatman ReturnsEdward ScissorhandsAliveThe ShiningI've always found Christmas to be the most bleak and depressing time of the year, so all the happy family films kind of rub me the wrong way.

  5. Depends if they're anything interesting or if the music is any good. This, for example, ended up being one of the best parts of Thor.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d0fkpdg1ml0
  6. I generally defend Twilight but the only thing critics have a vendetta against are bad movies.
  7. Hugo is an excellent score, themes galore.
  8. Steve Jones is completely incompetent, rude, obnoxious and so out of his depth. Makes for hilarious TV.
  9. 1. The Hunger Games2. Dark Shadows3. The Dark Knight Rises4. Frankenweenie5. The Avengers6. Prometheus7. Brave8. Gravity9. War Horse10. Snow White and the Huntsman
  10. The 2012 race is already more exciting than this.
  11. I'd say Lawrence will win. Though Hiddleston has a demented fanbase that live for this sort of thing.
  12. Filmtracks don't hate Hans Zimmer. He has a similar average rating to Elfman and Horner whom he has been majorly criticised for being biased in favour of.They hate the lazy, droning Hans Zimmer and they hate the fact that he gets credit for scores he barely wrote any music for and they hate that the appropriate credit isn't given to other composers who work on his scores, something like 16 people worked on DVC yet Zimmer gets all the credit. But they are more than willing to praise him when he actually challenges himself.I have my problems with Filmtracks, namely how some films get marked on their effectiveness on film when others are only judged on their own, but as far as Zimmer is concerned it's almost always on point.
  13. Adam Deacon (Kidulthood, Adulthood and Anuvahood)Chris Hemsworth (Star Trek, Thor, Snow White and the Huntsman)Felicity Jones (Cemetery Junction, Chalet Girl, Like Crazy)Tom Hiddleston (Thor, Midnight In Paris, War Horse, The Deep Blue Sea)Jennifer Lawrence (Winter's Bone, X-Men: First Class, The Beaver, The Hunger Games)Chris O'Dowd (The IT Crowd, Bridesmaids, Gulliver's Travels)Jessica Chastain (The Tree of Life, The Help, The Debt, Take Shelter)Eddie Redmayne (Black Death, My Week with Marilyn, Les Misérables
  14. The last act is pretty flawless but I can't get onboard with the rest.
  15. Hugely entertaining. Great action and music, more please.
  16. I thought it was boring, depressing and somewhat unsatisfying the first time. The second time I loved it, it was a realistic, ballsy ending which kept in line with the rest of the series. I honestly felt it humiliated the fairytale ending to pretty much every other YA series.
  17. Opinion on Mockingjay is constantly improving.
  18. Vader/Luke - ROTJMost emotional and aggressive, no silly dance moves.
