ahhh, that was your criteria! I meant the volume/count of enjoyable movies! I think I even wrote something like that in this thread, or was it Baumer, as such I might not have added it later in too, as already stated? Agree to the rest you wrote very much in general, only maybe difference is: if a movie bores me or I do not like the story at all, it still can get points for different craftsmanships in it, I think that is the only difference between us, usually those titles will still not end up high on my lists (but still might end in the middle ground of my ratings even if I give 0 points for the story), especially if its limited to a certain count they might not even be on a top something list, as such they wont have an impact anyway

or trying to build up a tradition, connection, in a way recognition? Yeah, Bond titles often are a bit strange I wouldn't say terrible, its a revamp adapted to today's times and one with rather big changes, but I do prefer Connery by far too (even if lots of details e.g. how to behave with women is gone out of fashion), he is way nearer to the imagined by the creator Bond as far as I understand that, whilst trying reading up a bit about that and older impressions. -

Maybe my 220 titles long list on page 2 can help as a research start? Its weak on choice for comedy and romance, but it has some of those too. Nearly no animated so.... But some western too, the '70 still had some of the good ones. If you list which genres you prefer or need some more to a more round/balanced collection, or if more award like movies, action,.... whatever we might be able to suggest some titles? -

utopian future, people wander from ~ arena to arena as a kind of gladiatorial brutal footbal version players/fighters and fight for money, fame, a future as ~ employed in city teams. Rutger's character looses an eye, in a way he furthers Chen's character. Rutger has a rich and powerful man working against him for something of the past.... The end is a bit atypical, especially for its time I think.

Man I love Rutger Hauer, nearly missed he had another one in 1989 too. Had a great Joan Chen and a young Vincent D'Onofrio in it too. Again, not called good quality acc IMDb, RT even way worse by the critics, but nice with audience, but several details,... interesting to me anyway: The Blood of Heroes aka (The) Salute of the Jugger Sadly my list is full already

Its for the list @tawasal prepares, movies who's first language is not English. On that list I have sublists per spoken language, means many French titles, Italian,.... and German titles too (funily less than French) And yes, it's intentional a wrong grammar, its about a cultural and age-wise mixed pair, where he is not a German. Stereotype Maroccan.... does not speak the language of his actual country in a 'proper' way -
1. depends on if you look for quality only or also for fun, or? 2. also on if you've seen enough movies, maybe missed a few of the best ones matching to what you look out for? 3. what is 'weak' for you? Means how do you use the term? What year is better? To me its a good movie year bcs it was an enjoyable year. E.g. movies like Tang & Cash are not good movies, but are fun like hell if you like the style. I laughed my .... behind of about that one.

Anythong that increases Rothmans influence is bad. He is the $%&%$§ for any creative in my POV. Like to order to change the colours ... of a complete set (FOX times) without even informing the director, changing the mood of a movie, but holding the director responsible, if the final product isn't ~ fluid anymore. When a money man thinks he is creative (I do not give anything about that sentence him 'helping' to make another movie 'better'), and has a grudge against Feige (there is another one connected to the Sony - Marvel productions who was against the idea of the MCU whilst still with Marvel). Grudge in the meaning if someone thinks only macho behaviour gets results and another one gets better results without those. There was a reason e had to leave FOX.

E.g. those I have on my foreign languages list, thought they are too indie as they were acc IMDb mostly shown at festivals outside a release in a few countries. that one I think is too much grasping for impact by Pasolini in a way (as too often with him), no need to be such.... inexcusable. I have no problem with sex on film, even porn, nor a problem e.g. with live-style (has nothing to do with this film), but this one is in my POV a case of 'only bcs you can do something must not / has not to mean you should do something' -

not sure, but I think I never saw Goldfinger in OV, so I know only Gert Fröbe's performace in German and that is in my POV a very good one. Found acc a little docu about it Still one of the best in my POV, but average rating a bit too deep in comparison, I think, as too often usual for older movies, another case of a bit deeper rated than a today's movie (with todays pacing,...) would get What a cast... -
one persons trash is another one's treasure I am curious about if they will announce anything - beside maaaaybe additional details / titbits about the MCU) about FOX Marvel, Star Wars, Avatar (probably next time earliest), Indiana Jones, Alien (is ther more planed?), even something out if the Die Hard series is theoretically possible. = Some info about what to expect with the Fox series'/franchises/whatever Also about Disney+/Hulu, like how will that work in e.g. Europe with licenses there in part strange worded. Like will there be the OV always be included? I am pretty sure such kind of details wont be mentioned, but maybe something said there will lead to more details for regions outside the US?

I had a discussion about that once: they have to consider the security of other drivers.... too, there are limits to what is still o.K. to do as a cop. E.g. a fleeing car squeezing between 'tracks' and bumping other cars... police has to wait till the space opens up again so they can follow I owned a 7er BMW in the past 😉 And a 650er motorcycle (Yamaha, building a license version of the '50 Triumph that they used in races.). And a motor home. Hubby other cars. Now I own a very small car and a caravan, he still a motorcycle, BMW, and a classic van he restores himself (I stopped to restore,... he started, its funny) -

I guess you should visit German Highways (mostly no speed limits = more people are used to higher speeds, even if the most choose usually not to do so, e.g. expensive per car gets 'thirsty' 😉 ) beside the funny (for me) pictures I'll put it in spoiler tags as too OT -

The '70 had quite some iconic movies Alien, Rocky, Godfather (I rate them far lower than IMDb btw), and Mad Max should have some fans here too One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest is also a cult movie in my POV, that was a very strange experience in the cinema, I laughed most at complete other scenes than the majority, means when the laughed, I didn't, when I laughed, I was often the only one A few started to laugh with me, as they started to understand why I laughed. One of the best cinema experience, as the discussion afterwards with then literally strangers went on over hours
