That part is great, it should give a nice push for the worldwide industry What is looking bad is, the actual streaming services offer acc to the casting people very bad pay and even worse conditions, like 5 years bounds to them without being allowed to take on work with another show in between.... This is from an European film festival's panel, but.... (spoiler tags for length) https://www.screendaily.com/news/streaming-companies-offering-outrageous-low-fees-to-actors-say-casting-directors/5142098.article edit to add (Prothos already saw it): @Barnack , maybe something for your database of all things around the business? in case you missed it.

not to disagree, only thinking how it might work: different genes/races and as such other speeds of aging? Obi Wan's aged faster bcs something happened to him in between? The time between SW 1 and later is bigger than most thought? ....?

In those contracts the characters went usually with the group of 'main' characters the were most working with, be part of the group with. There are a few characters that were ~ equal in the use in the comics, see Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, hence why MCU Marvel Studio and FOX both were able to use them (highly simplified explanation)

Black Widow | July 9 2021 | ScarJo secures the bag from Disney

I am actually very glad the weren't making similar amounts of money, it helps to get the expectations of the most in check to a degree. Like the acceptance for differences in BO, & for different reactions to whichever of those movies too. It allows the use of smaller stories in the meaning of scale of the danger for how many people (not meant bcs it's ants) are in danger, not all to be about to save the world. I think that in the future GA wont react so hysterical, if a movie is smaller or does less based on them earl-ish there. (meaning before Avengers 3 & 4). Quite the opposite to e.g. SW Solo, where the audience was not used to small scale, a side-story = I truly think that was part of the reasons for that's result too (plus the bigger, other reasons often named reasons here at BOT obviously) MCUs vary in a lot of details, to me that's a plus for future releases start ~ conditions -

Owning then a motor-caravan/motor-camper (does not work for a caravan as a trailer): one person buys a year pass (in our case me and son had both one, husband only a day pass) - then the same price like maybe 3.7 days entry into those parks per person. You can access the areal where the (charter....) bus drivers wait during the day till their passengers get back. The whole year long. Showers, power in the wash rooms for charging your phones... all free. Entry to the areal from the morning till evening, the other time its closed, fenced. In the night its usually very quiet, its in a nicely secured area, no one can steel your vehicle in the usual ways (all is possible, but its complicated to do so there) You use it for visits in the park, but also for sightseeing the next big city or whatever is in driving distance and interests you, but have not to pay the insane fees the city camping placed ask for, and there is is always an empty space. You can reserve a place at e.g. the steak house and get a better price-quality meal like in e.g. Paris, France (hence why so many from Paris visit all year around Disneyland Paris with a rather cheap regional population pass: to eat there). As my son was small up to his teens we used it a lot, was way cheaper then as any other possibility to visit Paris. Him and me started without the husband, drove with breaks, to take a swim or whatever, and went in a few days, husband flies in, spend for the son a day in the park too or not, then we drove to the ocean or ... too, on the way back zigzaged from one castle to whatever we wanted to visit, stayed again at the park's bus place, husband does his city viewing thing we didn't want to do too, so we are back in the park (btw, with breaks in the motor caravan too, to cook and eat, if the mood stroke), and then back to home again. We did that maybe in sum 5 years? Not in one row. Now we do other things, other countries, regions, but now I own a caravan only.

Top 100 Movies of the 1970s - October 6th is deadline
terrestrial replied to Jason's topic in Archived Lists and Countdowns
I saw it in ~ 6 parts, maybe they cut it differently for different markets? Aired it as doubles? Not sure, maybe I had the VHS of then??? Can't remember that detail, if it was as VHS then I saw it later than I think that I saw it as the first one I owned was whilst living in another city. Beside that, nearly 12h, that is ~ the limit for what I call still a mini-series, as then at least the usual series had 22 to 26# episodes per season (at least those where I watched wnough of them to be aware of the count) See the genre surprise in Baumer's thread, different detail in the use of the same term, always intersting to learn about -
No one mentioned on the previous page its being page #2500 Holiday for me (not the pupils) is over, have to start to work again, but only for a few hours
