Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy deserve a second chance. If Bane gets redeemed, so should they. Charles Dance, John Malkovich or DDL as Freeze. Angie, Eva Green or Jessica Chastain as Poison Ivy. Also, I like the idea of JLaw as Harley Quinn too. Though I don't see how they can introduce the character without The Joker. Maybe show her descent into insanity in flashbacks?

I've got to give him some brownie points for being the only current Marvel writer interested in using my darling Janet. I don't get why she isn't being featured more in the Avenger verse after her return. Is it a movies affecting comics thing? She was the sole founding female Avenger!

Remender is cool as long as you keep him away from writing about race relations and other social themes. Uncanny Avengers is a disaster whenever it tries to tackle these subjects.

Dan Slott's run has been a big improvement over BND though. He always tries inventive things and his love for the character and his universe shows. Sometimes his stories don't work (Alpha) and some arcs are pretty strong at the beginning and middle but the ending gets fudged (Superior Spider-Man, Ends of the Earth) but when he does succeed, he hits it out of the ballpark (No One Dies, Spider-Island, pre-OMD Spidey/Human Torch: I'm With Stupid). Excited for the upcoming Spider-Verse too. I just hope he doesn't kill the MC2 universe Spider-Girl and her family. I also like how he is setting up J. Jonah Jameson as Spidey's own O'Reilly. Though that's apparently taken from the USM cartoon that I don't watch. Still cool to see this new dynamic in the mainstream comics too.

Hmm, reading articles about how HBO's what he is REALLY after to turn it into his gambit against Netflix... which, WTF? When and why did Netflix become so threatening all of a sudden? Also, if it really is a move against Netflix, changing HBO content to a large degree ain't gonna do shit even IF he does acquire/merge with Time Warner. Which is a big if in itself.

If it indeed happens then assets like CNN are expected to be sold off to rival networks like Disney-owned ABC or Viacom's CBS to avoid monopolization. HBO could be similarly sold off too. Again, this scenario comes into play only if the merger does not fall through. Relax for the time being.

Yup, major elements of Frozen kept being rewritten until even after recording sessions, as evidenced by the fact that Kristen and Idina had already recorded "Life's Too Short", the song that was ultimately replaced by the First Time In Forever reprise and which depicted the sisters' relationship and Elsa's character in particular, in a very different light than what was shown in the final film.

Hmm, what was so Emmy-rific about Cersei in The Lion and the Rose? All she did was get burned by Oberyn, display Margaelousy and take it out on Pycelle and then screech at the end. Silly she gets snubbed for S1 and Blackwater, only to get acknowledged for this. Peter could win yet again though! OMG Margaery made it to the sleeve of the DVD box set!! You should catch Peabody and Sherman. It's really enjiyable and much better than DreamWorks' usual fare. Ty Burrell is amazing!Oh and here's to BH6 annihilating Penguins at the BO this winter. Holding out hope that BH6 STUNS and takes second place to Mockingjay in 2014 BO performance.
