  1. The Zodiac Killer actually uttered that line to the real-life counterpart of that mom character, Kathleen Johns, before she managed to jump out of the moving car with her baby and escape. Fun Fact: Ione Skye, the actress who played Johns in Zodiac, is the daughter of Donovan, who wrote and sang "Hurdy Gurdy Man".
  2. It does but SD: MU was the superior Scooby-Doo film. I'll be okay if the worst case scenario is Goosebumps being on the same level of quality.
  3. The prophecy foretold that Elsa would bring doom to Arendelle, not that she'd be the hero like in those other films. The movie would've been about proving the prophecy wrong. The prophecy's existence would have added to Elsa's paranoia and tested Anna's faith even further. Though excluding it didn't seem to make much of a difference and probably gave more time to develop Kristoff and his relationship with the trolls.
  4. Oooh, it's just a costume for this version of Fred? Interesting.
  5. Someone can describe the Dexter finale as "good" only in the way that euthanasia could probably be "good". That show became such a joke and a dried-up husk of its former self from Season 6 onward that it was a great relief to just see it end its own misery. Even if a single episode hadn't been released after the Season 5 finale, the show would've been remembered on such a glorious note that it isn't even funny. HIMYM is the perfect example of a shit finale, though I never found the show to be all that in the first place.
  6. Goosebumps was always kinda campy, like Raimi horror lite, so I'm not too worried about Jack Black. In fact, he may be perfect!
  7. I think I have around 100, including Goosebumps 2000 and those Multiple Choice Goosebumps (remember those? Turn to Page 4 to join the Blue Team and get transformed into a bat. Or turn to Page 16 to join the Red Team and enter a house of monsters). I also have the hardcover collection of the first three Goosebumps that screams when you open it. Always found that freakishly cool, like a book out of the Harry Potter universe or something.
  8. Bitch don't be extra without even watching TASM2. You and I both know you will end up loving Andrew + Emma anyhoo.
  9. I loved Fault! Didn't read the book so was really taken aback by how good it was. Expected it to be hamfisted Nicholas Sparks material at best.
  10. TASM fans would like to thank Godzilla, EoT and HTTYD2 for existing this summer. We managed to save some face thanks to that disastrous trio!
  11. It is good but definitely surprised to see it get a higher RT than the likes of Rango, Coraline, Wreck It Ralph, ParaNorman and Frozen.
  12. True, but she'd make an even more awesome Poison Ivy. She is great at being sexy and intimidating at the same time (Dark Shadows, 300 2). Two traits that are a must for playing Poison Ivy. I think Lena Headey could also pull off Ivy's pathos really well. She showed she could hold her own as a solo boss villain in Dredd and she is amazing as a layered Cersei in GoT.
  13. I had no idea that Arthur Christmas was such a critical darling!
  14. 7/19 Generic stoner comedy/retirement vehicle for Michael Cera and Christopher Mintz-Plasse about two stoners invading frat and sorority luncheons. Murder Manic Pixie Dream Girl
  15. 9.5/10. Elsa Goddess by herself is a 9! Gets the extra half-point for the fierce pose and that wonderful gold-tinted ice background and color scheme! Misses out on the perfect score coz it is slightly zoomed out and you can't make out the expression on Elsa's face without squinting/being a Frozenatic who knows every frame of the movie like the back of your hand.
  16. All of those "universes" are restricted to one world. This is the first time a cinematic universe has fleshed out multiple Earth based characters and stories (Tony Stark, Steve Rogers, Bruce Banner etc.) AND otherworldly characters and stories (Thor, Guardians etc.), bringing them together during larger universe affecting sagas. (Avengers, Avengers 3 etc.) And that's not even talking about the different genres existing in the same universe (sci-fi with Iron Man, political thriller with Cap, fantasy with Doctor Strange etc.) The ONLY thing that could come close to this level of scope and diversity is the DC universe, and those folks stumble and fall twice for every step they take.
  17. Disney genetically altered the strain after conducting several tests on those annoying mice from Cinderella. Such a visionary I hope he wins!
