Good start in Australia.
The launch of the new Sherlock Holmes series, Elementary, became an unequivocal hit, drawing 1.23 million viewers nationally.
Inclusive of both the capital city and regional ratings, Elementary was watched by 1.74 million people. Read more: http://www.smh.com.au/entertainment/tv-and-radio/ten-in-its-element-as-sherlock-series-proves-a-ratings-hit-20130204-2dtb8.html#ixzz2Jsvti0xs

I haven't watched it yet but is the franchise serial killer premise similar to the way Red John operates on The Mentalist?
$530,815 in previews on the weekend in Australia. Mostly 1-2 screenings per day per theatre from Friday to Monday. I would say $7m is locked at this stage. It has a shot at $10m although that depends on the Oscar buzz and solid WOM.
Solid previews for SLP considering it was only 1 or 2 shows per day at each theatre. Should be around $1.7-1.9m for the opening weekend. Has a chance at $10m with ongoing Oscar buzz although I suspect it will fall short.
I know, it should be baumer's favourite show. You did wonder where they would go in the first season when it was all about the getting revenge on the Grayson Family. The Initiative does allow for a multi-season story arc.

I thought it was clear it was Olivia. The shot was on her as the lights started to go out in the background. Then the blood spatter showed Windmark wasn't quiet quick enough teleporting away.
The answer is no. Women see less then a few years ago.In 2010 women purchased a lower proportion of the movie tickets (down from 55% of movie tickets in 2009), driven particularly by decreased attendance among women who attend frequently. In 2010, the only gender group that purchased more tickets than 2009 was male frequent moviegoers.http://www.wfc-capital-group.com/downloads/MR10_MPAA%202010%20Report.pdf
There are a few flaws but overall I'm both amazed and happy that an Abrams TV series managed to pull off a neat conclusion with links back to events of each season. We even got to say goodbye to Gene.
I really enjoyed the show as well. I just accepted the flaws in the timelines/narrative a long time ago. Another thing a tried not to let bug me to much this season was the geography. It's basically a heavily monitored police state and yet they always manage to have no trouble traveling between the lab in Boston and New York where everything seemed to take place this season.
