Yeah, I agree, that would make the show feels constricted. But I like the three episodes so far, gotta disagree about the quality of them. I read somewhere, on a HIMYM fansite iirc, that Ted will actually meet the mother halfway into the season, episode 10/11 or so. We'll see.

Today's episode is pretty good All the jokes hit the right notes for me. Love all the references to The Princess Bride. But seriously, I'm freaking tired of Ted not letting go, it's just pathetic at this point.

Yeah, the guy's live singing is embarrassing. He usually standing on one spot to sing, yet sound like he has to sing after doing 100 push-ups or something. I think Paula is okay overall. Not that good, but not too terrible either. But yep, she's really pretty, with a great body too.

I think he's pretty good looking. His singing, on the other hand, especially live, is just weak. Yup, his dad is one handsome guy.

That's incredible. Good to be one in that 10.3 millions, I was anxious that I would miss the finale yesterday. Absolutely great ending to the series. I'm very happy with it. Gotta find time to rewatch the whole series in the near future

Wait, Prometheus is a horror movie? I had no idea, I thought it was a comedy.

I knew you would like Rush Daniel Bruhl was terrific, and Hems was great too. The movie was a great ride for me, thrilling and exciting.

I enjoyed the acting performances and I think that JGL gave a solid directorial debut. But the plot and characters are mostly underwhelming, and some jokes don't work for me. So overall, it was okay. But I'm definitely interested in future projects that JGL will direct.B-/C+

I think the weekend thread hasn't been this alive (somewhat) in weeks. I watched Don Jon, Rush, and Instructions Not Included yesterday. Don Jon was only okay, but I love Rush and INI, both are strongly emotional films that delivered well in a lot of aspects.

Spider-Man 3? I have a love/hate relationship with that movie. I can't just jump on watching it, gotta prepare properly for the onslaught of whatever it threw out there.

Yeah, my parents didn't shy away from the disturbing, gory, or violence in movies for me. I just stopped watching or went away for a while if I can't handle some parts. But when it came to sex scenes, I remembered they always told me to "cover your eyes" and muted the sound until those scenes passed :lol:I figure the Disney movies were just them trying to be model and proper parents I still have a drawer full of Disney VHS.My Dad is also a big fan of HK gangster movies, Kungfu and wuxia movies, I grew up with those, and I'm also a big fan, the only one in my family sharing that hobby with him.And LOL, you naughty kid, how was your reaction after watching Hannibal Holocaust?
