  1. And here I thought that my audience was already pretty old. The movie definitely skew older, that's why I thought it would do well being released this month.

  3. Will you see Gravity with your daughter? Cause I should warn you that there are some graphic scenes that might be too much for her.
  4. Yeah, I think it'll skew older than Gravity. Me and my bf were also the youngest in our theater by 10 years or so.
  5. That's a pretty good hold for Prisoners. Shame that Rush couldn't do better; but it's no help that F1 racing is really not US audience's cup of tea I guess.
  6. The field seems really strong this year. Best for me so far are Michael B. Jordan, Hugh Jackman, and of course Tom Hanks. Hanks is a sure bet; and I would love to see Jordan got in. Shame that this is Jackman's career best (IMO) but his chances are slim to none. Can't wait to see Redford, Ejiofor, and Phoenix with all the raves they got.
  7. Yeah, I did. Watched Gravity twice, and Captain Phillips just this afternoon. Both movies did make me cry. Captain Phillips was strong stuff; it even got my boyfriend sniffling.
  8. You should see both. And Gravity is only 90 min, so won't take much time if you're busy. Both are suspenseful, strongly emotional with great actings, so be sure to bring tissues
