  1. What makes you dislike The Wire?Edit: Now I hope it's the Wire, cause I want to see this rant
  2. Great drop for Captain Phillips, and may it have a long healthy run and make Cmasterclay's club a success
  3. No offense, but I sure hope that the final results won't be a sausage fest :)I'll try to finish my list tomorrow.
  4. This is my favorite X-Men movie. Young Prof. X and Magneto are awesome. McFass has great chemistry and they mostly carried the whole movie for me. The kid mutants though, eh, not so much. Don't care for them, problem is I think the movie didn't do anything much about them to make me care either. Rose Byrne is a bright spot, she's lovely. January Jones, on the other hand, is horrible as Emma Frost in my opinion.I like the music and direction, I hope Matthew Vaughn can return to direct another X-Men movie. I'm not really big on Bryan Singer. B+/A-
  5. POA is my favorite Potter movie as well. i enjoyed most of the other ones, but I love Prisoners of Azkaban.
  6. Oh God, please don't let this thread be another BKB/Squaremaster love nest

  9. It's my most favorite Batman movie till now. Batman Returns and The Dark Knight are 2 best Batman movies. Both got an A from me; but I found this one to be more enjoyable and more rewatchable (though I have watched TDK plenty of times too) Michelle Pfeiffer is just a sight to watch as Catwoman And I really like how the romance is handled in this movie (romance is one aspect in Nolan's Bat movies that never clicks with me; they're all so messy and forced) Funny how opinions are so divided on Batman Returns. Oh well, people have different tastes My ranking of the old Bat movies: Batman 89: A- Batman Returns: A Batman Forever: C Batman and Robin: F or A+ (it's all depend on what angles you're perceiving the movie at )

  11. What majors market are left? I got China, Japan, SK, UK. Where do you guys think it's heading to OS? 400M+ with a Chinese release?
  12. I didn't think there would be a thread for this since it's a HBO movie, but well, here it is.I just watched it for the first time recently, I thought the movie is awesome. Acting performances from Douglas and Damon are incredible and immensely enjoyable. Direction is also good.Agree with others, Rob Lowe was hilarious, his facial expressions just cracked me up. And bonus points for blond beefcake Damon in speedo.A- from me.
  13. It's okay, you'll get through it. And then off to enjoy the newlyweds life. It'll all be good.
  14. Ooh, that's incredible! Early congratulations Remember to share some photos or stories next year with us
  15. I didn't know you have a fiancé, so will the joyous bells ring anytime soon? Standard procedure: remember to bring tissues for you and your fiancé! And I hope you guys will enjoy the movie
  16. And I chill with that friend like once every two months when we see a prestige film and talk about in the car (last time was Fruitvale.) She only focuses on characters in film and was like "Both Clooney and Bullock's characters were so dull so it was hard for me to like the movie." I kept insisting Gravity's not necessarily about characters (since she wasn't gonna budge on them being "dull") but about the story and themes, but she just kept on saying it was an okay film, and Prisoners was much better... It's okay, different strokes for different folks. Like you said, she's into character study movies in general, so Prisoners works better for her. It's fun to have dissimilar opinions and lively debates sometimes.
  17. I think the scenes that show The rest of the movie though, yeah, it's pretty kid-friendly. I liked Prisoners overall, but I agree with you. The acting performances are what make the movie for me. And you should reconsider whether to still be friends with that guy/girl
  18. I finally watched this episode on ABC. It's good, a step up from last week. It set up origin and the inevitable return of Graviton pretty well. Even though I'm still not that keen on Chloe Bennet's acting; Skye is growing on me. Ward, on the other hand, eh; boring. But I guess a team like this needs a straight, stern guy and he's it.
  19. 1. Thor: The Dark World 2. Captain America: The Winter Soldier 3. Her 4. Wolf of Wall Street 5. Saving Mr. Banks 6. Frozen 7. All Is Lost 8. American Hustle 9. Guardians of the Galaxy 10. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire
