  1. That's a fantastic accomplishment. These films are just insane profit makers
  2. This number suggests a low 280s finish
  3. Is BOM incredibly slow/down for anyone else?
  4. Considering the precedent set by New Moon and even Twilight in this case, Saturday shouldn't have been any higher than 38M. The fact that it broke 40, despite burning off all of that demand, is IMO a strong hold
  5. HBP had the best non-book scenes. Slughorn's Confession, Extended Harry/Hermione, In Noctem, etc
  6. This actually had a better Adjusted IM than New Moon did, by virtue of the strong Saturday hold. New Moon had a 2.51 IM for the non-midnight weekend, while this did 2.61
  7. With those weekend numbers this projects for $283M. I think $290 is where it'll land
  8. ^^That's my methodology B. I see this having a 2.345 multiplier without midnights (OW and Total), then adding in the $30.25.
  9. If that 40 million Saturday holds true then based on New Moon's drop Sunday should be nearer $26.4 million, for a $138.3M OW. Given that OW, the total is on pace for $283.6 million
  10. With this number, following New Moon's Sunday drop would yield a $27.7M Sunday for an OW of $141.7M That would put this on pace for $291 million
  11. Impressive, if this number sticks then its a great hold
  12. Imagine the sense of foreboding that scene would build, especially to someone who didn't know what was about to go down in the next scene
  13. Love the shot of McGonagall and Snape shots, which foreshadow DH2Including this scene in the film would've given DH2's opening more meaning IMO
  14. Assuming it drops the same as New Moon, it should hit $38 million on Saturday
  15. I want to see a reboot in which they either A) Stay 100% true to the books; no changes, highly detailed, or B )have one director who plays around with all 7 of the books and comes up with his own vision of the story. Not something in between, where some films are faithful and some the opposite.I really like what Yates did with HBP, he added some touches and developed things further than the book did, if they go in that direction again, I'd love to see it
  16. http://www.youtube.c...wop1kysM#t=211sBest scene from the film IMO, sad that it was cut

  18. I'm sure I've missed some horror flicks and some of the smaller/less successful films, but this should cover a lot of the big ones
