  1. Yeah, it definitely affected it to some extent. Based on last weekend's growth, BD1 was tracking for $9.7 million after Thursday.
  2. Sunday wasthe first time in nearly 3 weeks that BD1's cumulative total as a percentage of its opening day rose at a lower rate than New Moon's. Should be just around $1 million today, could be below or above. Following New Moon from here on out, it should hit $287.3 million
  3. http://boxofficeindia.com/youdetail.php?page=shownews&articleid=3797&nCat= 45 crores expected for the first weekend. Could get near 70 for the week
  4. Box Office India estimates the following for Ladies vs. Ricky Bahl's OW4.75 Crore Friday5.50 Crore Saturday6.25 Crore Sunday16.5 Crore Weekend
  5. It seems that I overpredicted FridayNow, going with that $2.5 million Friday number this is what I currently see$2,500,000 Friday$3,536,881 Saturday (+41.5%)$2,083,965 Sunday (-41.1%)$8,120,846 Weekend
  6. $290 is locked now. This will have the best multiplier since the first film
  7. Weekend Projection for Breaking Dawn (Based on Thursday's number)Friday $3,029,747Saturday $4,326,134Sunday $2,396,106Weekend $9,751,986
  8. Dunno if its been asked in here already, but did DH2 just end its run at $947M or has Mojo just stopped updating? I'm assuming its the latter, in which case, does anyone have its final tally?
  9. Wasn't the dollar really strong at the time of TDK's release? The top 3 films overseas in 2008 were Indy 4, TDK, and Mamma Mia, and all landed between $465M and $470M.
  10. I dislike the "distributor share" method even though its popular with the Bollywood BO community. IMO gross should be the only number of significance. Beyond that, the classification system is another thing that I just don't get. Why classify the degree of success a film has had based on distributor share?
  11. The net is after the government takes entertainment tax off the gross. The entertainment tax percentage has gone down over the last ten years, and even now, the ratio can fluctuate movie by movie due to a whole host of factors
  12. Very true. The music was a disappointment. I didn't expect another Aaj Ki Raat, but this current album is downright dull
  13. Dirty Picture is doing fantastic. I don't really consider anyone in that film an A lister, and despite that it's going to be very close to 50 in the first week. I guess I'm overpredicting Don 2 a little bit. I think it could have opened near that level had the response to Ra1 been positive, but that didn't work out to well. Still, I think its got the potential for the 3 day OW, but who knows.
  14. BD1 should see a 12% bump tomorrow for about $1.2 million
  15. Get it quick! WB is taking them all out of production on the 29thhttp://articles.businessinsider.com/2011-10-25/entertainment/30319249_1_harry-potter-dvds-netflix
  16. Should be just around $1 million tomorrow, 23% drop Following New Moon's holds, this will now hit 286.5m. 290 is starting to look locked
  17. Yup, good pointBased on the trends this has shown in having increasingly stronger holds, I had this hitting 1,305,215, so I'm liking using this method at this point
  18. No need for apologies B! I was only joking anyway. The numbers being up is all that matters
