I think next weekend is difficult to predict. I have no clue what WWZ or MU is going to do. If one of them bombs then I think 60-70 isn't unreasonable, if they both do very well, then I think 45-50 is more likely (which I know is a huge drop, but I think possible).WWZ is the movie I am most curious about. I think it will either do really well or give AE a run for its money. I don't see a middle ground.

I know that MU is going to fv<k every other movie even including MOS

It's based on a book that it seems to have totally not followed. It has the book fans all up and arms about it. You never if they show up or not. The film doesn't really appeal to me but there seems to be people that it does appeal to.  Animation of course is big the kiddies in summertime.

MOS opens to 113M which is awesome and this poster Kal thinks it's going to have an 80M 2nd weekend??? :stooges: That in itself is absurd.. At BEST, next weekend is around 55-60M.. Competition folks and maybe under that...

You were saying similar thing after TA's 2nd weekend produced 103m.

This is most likely ... I mean, sure things can happen ... but with two big openers (relatively speaking) I would say limit to how good it will hold.If it did 55 million, it would likely be over 220 million next Sunday.

E,

I think the softest Sunday drops would be with Monday holidays... I can't find one that actually stayed flat though.

Thanks for looking Ed. Never mind anyway. I think the sell outs seemed to have subsided anyway. At least in my area. The 4pms haven't sold out. But they were doing gangbusters since 10am! LOL

I assume Sunday afternoons always always busier than night?

Cranston would be a fine Lex Luthor, but I'd prefer him as Commissioner Gordon in the Batman reboot.

It is way too soon to reboot Batman anytime soon.

Go with Bale and make some shit up. Bale doesn't need to play the "Nolan Batman". He can be another Batman.

I think matinees will be fairly strong, but night business will be just okay. Isn't there like a NBA final tonight? I don't keep up with sports news outside of tennis  ^_^
