MU is a prequel.

It's a sequel because it is the next film in the series.  It's a prequel because it comes before MU.  In our game, its a sequel.

Looking at Emmerich's OWs on BOM, WHD  opened a full 10m less than 10,000 BC. Damn that's depressing. On the plus side the Patriot opened in the same ballpark and went on to fantastic legs.

It needs a great 4th of July weekend for WHD not to be a certified flop. 100M+ DOM might still be possible.

There was a early leaked script. But that was an old. I'm sure everyone knows Nolan keeps the only script in his undies for no one to see.

In terms of actors not being bankable anymore, imagine what the forums would have been like when:

Bruce Willis did Bonfire of the Vanities, Mortal Thoughts, Hudson Hawk and Billy bathgate all in a row?

Tom Cruise did Far and Away in 1992?  58 million dollars and Universal's tentpole

Tom Hanks:  Every movie after Splash up until Big.  The members here would have declared him a laughing stock, a corpse.  Then he goes on to win 2 best actor oscars and be one of the most bankable stars in the world 20 YEARS AFTER SPLASH.

Bill Murray after Ghostbusters II.  He would be crucified here.

How about Samuel L Jackson after A Time To Kill.

The point is, you don't write someone off the way people do here so often.  Some of you act like movie execs hang on every film and then decide whether or not they have a star because one of two or even three films tank.  It's quite a joke really.

Sony and Paramount both need Disney's marketing team, IMO. Disney got boring IM3 to 400 mil!

Avengers was a 300 million dollar trailer for IM3, Thor 2 and CA2.

"They put someone on a plane and flew them to Ireland and then drove them two hours to my location to hand me the script to read," Chastain remembered. "That's how secret this movie is. There's no email. There's no FedEx. Someone gets on a plane from Los Angeles and flies to Northern Ireland."After reading Interstellar, despite her professionalism as an actor, she wasn't allowed to keep the script. Chastain smiled, "I gave it back to the very nice gentleman and he got back on a plane and went back to Los Angeles."It's all understandable as Chris Nolan, when it comes to making a film; he tries his best to keep everything a secret. We're glad to see Jessica working with Nolan for the first time and I'm sure that she will deliver a powerful performance again. Nolan will begin shooting part of Interstellar in early August and will begin preparations next month in Calgary, Alberta.Source: ENewsTAGS: CHRISTOPHER NOLAN, JESSICA CHASTAIN, INTERSTELLAR
