I think 11.2 is enough to pass 30m wknd. For some reason I see it being slightly less frontloaded than District-9.

Planes' Friday number will have to be around $9.5-10m for that to happen, IMO. With $11.2m, I think Elysium has a good shot at #1 still.

 

To be honest though, if Elysium is front-loaded then we're potentially talking about Millers having an outside shot at #1.

Planes is only going to make 27 - 28 million. Elysium can still make 30 million and win the weekend.

Conservatively, $25-26m. I really think it could top that though after seeing its first 3 days so far. My bet is that it comes out of the weekend with stronger WOM than Elysium.

I think WOM for Millers will be very strong. So it will be a good battle for spots 1-3
