Disney cutting ticket prices, probably to improve admits but I think bad decision. Could potentially lead to missing EG record.

I would say good decision because I was waiting for reduction of prices since it opened to watch it.

Already near 2x by the of 2nd weekend. Is it too much to ask for 3x leg? Too bad Disney didn't include 3D surcharge here, that is a misinterpretation of India's potential.

Dude ticket prices were already high af. You want to add 3D surcharge too? Do you want people to go to theatres or stay at home.

eh. he isn't asking to increase ticket price.

right now say a 3D ticket is ₹325 & 2D is ₹295. the extra ₹30 is 3D charge, that isn't being reported in GROSS, that's usual practice here. reason that is given is that since distributor don't get any share from that, they don't report it.

Also for all the hype of increased ticket prices, prices are par other Hollywood tentpoles. May be some cinema has surcharge of ₹10/20 over Dr Strange, but it's largely same.

The ticket price increase that is helping gross is basically in South India. back in 2019, ticket prices in Telangana state were regulated at ₹125 in Hyderabad city, now that limit has been increased to ₹300, that's why you have APTS doing such numbers for films nowadays.

Endgame did ₹29cr NETT in AP/Nizam, that's equivalent of ~₹60-65cr today. Similarly TN and Kerala have around 50% increases.

North India price increase is around 10-15% may be.

Why would it jump up 75% over A2 in just two years?

because Avatar 2 is not that good movie(don’t confuse me I’ m not saying this one is trush but is not that good. like Titanic and aliens)

But I believe JC will doing great on Avatar 3,he will show us another Terminator 2

He will do it again like he always do
