Impressive. Isn't this the first European country where it also opened bigger than TDW?  Don't know if it was also 5 days since BOM also lists CATWS as 3.  But it's also pretty close to TDW's second w/e total

TWS performance in my country has been exceptionally impressive!

 

On April, 9th only (a holiday), it gained 83.802 admissions in Viet Nam's biggest cinema chain (not including other chains).

Now it is the biggest grossing movie in a single day at Vietnamese box office thus far.

Also, according to the report, at the current rate, it is likely to beat Iron man 3 to become the top grossing movie in history

I just compared the 44 markets where CA:TWS opened already and BOM updated the totals with TDW and the difference is almost nothing (Some of them had 2 weeks and some only 1)

Just checked how Cap was performing in Romania. First weekend it was on 92 screens and grossed $250K whilst Noah, in its second weekend, on half as many screens, grossed $200K. I have to say, Captain seems to be under performing in my country, despite better reviews, better movie and a Romanian actor. What the fuck...

 

Thor grossed twice as much in its OW.

It could be an advertisement problem.Clearly superheroes are more popular in Asia and Latin America,and thankfully they are the fastest-growing markets so these movies won't stop to grow.Thor 3 and Captain America 3 will have a shot at 1B with bigger markets and the Avengers 2 effect.
