tawasal
You should put movies that are opening the week we are in, in the title.
Jack Nevada
I dont want to use an A-F grading system.
ChD
I dont want to use an A-F grading system. Well, until you can make all voters give their exact grade (like 7 instead of B-), I see nothing against it.
friendofnarnia
I think anything that is 6 or under should be rotten unless the review seems to be more positive than negative. Pretty much every review on this forum that is 6 or less reads like a rotten. Edited December 11, 2013 by friendofnarnia
Goffe
I'm not reading review by review guys, that would be practically impossible
friendofnarnia
So what are you doing? Just looking at the polls? It actually doesn't take that much longer because the only time you have to read a review is if it is unclear whether it is rotten or not. And are you trying to do this for every movie? 4815162342
Polls are misleading since they only incorporate the 5 main letters, but there are huge variations. There is a big difference between a B- and a B+. In fact there are some people I know who would consider a B- to be almost rotten.

4815162342
Also, not everyone who reviews a film uses the polls. I don't half the time. A better option is to have a weekly edition for new releases with members posting their grades (letters or numbers or fractions) for the newly released films. There just needs to be a well-defined conversion of letter grade-to-number to determine whether the grade is fresh or not. We can also have sections where the top films of the year (BO or awards buzz) already released get the same treatment. Impact
Some people just do the polls while others just do reviews, anyway nice job.
Goffe
I will not continue this, it consumes too much time, it took almost 4 hours to complete 3 letters. ABANDON THREAD.

Killimano3
I will not continue this, it consumes too much time, it took almost 4 hours to complete 3 letters. come to think of it how exactly did this take 4 hours? All I can think of is if you searched the entire forum for movies that started with a certain letter, except you can sort it alphabetically soo
Goffe
come to think of it how exactly did this take 4 hours? I have to open all topics, if I didn't vote I have to click in "view results", check if the movie has 10 votes or more, sum all votes, sum A and B percentages, make the average rating (it takes a long time) and format the numbers. All of this took 4 hours
