Not a fan. Works essentially as an outright comedy. The suspense isn't there. Arguably Fincher's least interesting film for me. Payoff's such nonsense. Make Crowe's Vanilla Sky denouement look tidy.

It's basically a modern-day version of A CHRISTMAS CAROL.

Cool premise but the movie didn't work for me. It goes way beyond suspension of disbelief. The "game" is so ridiculously over the top and dangerous, most people would die or sue. It especially doesn't work in such a realistic and grounded movie. Maybe the setting should have been in the future or something?

The direction in this movie is spot on. Its one of those you watch and think, Idk if any other director could have pulled off that twist.
