So in Spain was crap but in Portugal was great?

I'm afraid Cjohn is right. Madagascar 2 opened to 1.1 million in Portugal, exactly the same than 3rd part, but in Spain, Madagas 2 opened to 5.7 million. It has dropped more than 50% (2.6 million). Spain box office is crap right now

Yes. It dropped from Madagascar 2 in admissions here, but 3D saved it and opened with exact the same. A great result. The biggest OW of the year easily here.

Of course. Should be at least $5M higher.

Why would they not report it? Is it 'should be' $5M or 'is' $5M higher?

Spain box office is crap right now

Spain BO really is awful this year.

Official estimates just came out, about $18.89M, $3M higher.

around 21M I would say.

That's good. It will all get added into the IA4 OS total anyway so does not matter too much if it was not reported properly in one weekend's total.
