Australia has let Transformers down.

given there is virtually no competition till thursday week for TF4, it should perform strongly over the holidays...

The only film of note opening this weekend coming is Rio 2.  following weekend is of Rise of the planet of the Apes.

and someone should really tell ninemsn to update their upcoming film list... They still have Fast and Furious 7 due for the 10th July... (unless they know something the studio doesn't) ;)

Looks like Dragon should hit around $5m or just under for the week if it follows DM2/MU's pattern from last year. Should get around that again in the second week of school holidays for around $19.5m total. Then it should get around $3m for the week after for around $22.5m. Then it should get around $1.3m for the week to get to $23.8m.

So it looks like it should reach around $25m.

Also it is amazing how closely DM2/MU followed each other for 4 weeks.

I saw in Urbancinefile, Australian Dollars. Then, Paramount overestimate Australia.

Gather your refering to the International report..International regardless of how individual territory reports always include previews etc in weekend figure

I saw that they put previews in first weekend, specially in UK and Australia. Because of this they had an Enormous first weekend in Australia for HTTYD2 that was not real. But I was talking that Paramount said 10 million (that was Australian Dollars number) and the correct in Dollars was 5% less (9,56 million, boxofficemojo). Them, Paramount overestimate it, because they put Australian Dollars number like USA Dollars. Edited by Ajbg
