Lucy looking like 4.5 Wkend GOTG prev around 2.1(ltd sessions)

 

That is fantastic.  

 

I finally caught Apes over the weekend (yes i know i'm behind times at the moment but i've recently been in hospital putting my movie going ability out for a bit).  Loved the film... now i want to see Lucy if I can fit it in before the madness that is Guardians hits the screen.  

 

As for opening weekend for Guardians... until last thursday i was hoping for an opening around 6m to 7m.  suddenly i'm hoping it pulls something bigger... and saves the box office.... is 8m to 10m possible ?  I won't say more as school is in right now.

Well Lucy got 4.4m usd - biggest opening for the director here. So about 4.7m in AUD. Very nice start.

I was just watching At The Movies. They both gave Begin Again 4 stars. Margaret loved GOTG and gave it 4, David didn't really get it and gave it 3. The close out scene was the plan debate. I picked up on something else Drax said. "I wasn't listening, I was thinking of something else."

A number of people barely contained their composure with your absence over the weekend.  I think withdrawal symptoms started to kick in.
