Man, what a shame Mushishi didn't get that Best Picture nom. Although, I suppose it having more nominations than any other film this year kinda makes up for it. (I'm counting 15.)

Also, guys, vote for Keg Party in the Original Song tiebreaker. Alpha actually went to the trouble of trying to write lyrics for it, so he deserves it. Vote for me for everything else though. Especially in Best Supporting Actor category. Because I really want to have someone from Mushishi in all four categories.

EDIT: Also, it looks like the Redwall vs HDH competition has arrived early. Interesting to see how that goes.

DOUBLE EDIT: Still bemused at Resonance's appearance in Best Use of Action.

TRIPLE EDIT: And Rose Byrne was nominated in both actress categories. Good for her.

15? Wow. Congrats.

I got 4 off of two movies that were received with mixed reviews. Can't complain. Next year, maybe

Glad that Cinema Studies got in for BP. Also, I personally think that HDH works better in the screenplay category than Redwall since while that film relies more on spectacle and excitement, a lot of HDH relies on the wit of Lord & Miller.

I was going to say the complete opposite. I thought HDH relied more on the cartoonish visuals and slapsticks while Redwall takes more time to develop characters (both protagonists and supporting characters) and drama.

I counted 5 definite nominations for HDH and 4 for Tommy. In fact, if HDH wins both tiebreakers, it'll have the same nominations that Spark 2 did last year.

Also, I think these are the documentary nominations:

Flappy Bird

The Guardian of the West

The Normans

Time, Space, and One Blue Box

Twinkie

I keep forgetting about the Best Original Song Entries....

Also, I've added the Documentary entries, even though it's kinda pointless since we all know Guardian is going to win.

Another note: My favorite tiebreaker was in Y5, where only one actress was guaranteed a slot and there was a tiebreaker of 5 for the final spots.

At least Films can say he has a few nominees. :)
