Memorial Day will soften next weekends drop as well.I'm thinking ASM 2 will drop pretty badly next week because there is another superhero film coming out with tons of buzz. I don't see it making $40M with Godzilla, DOFP opening as early as wednesday and Maleficent. I think it has maybe $20 - $25M at most. I think at the moment 300M+ is on the cards for Frozen in Japan and it would only need 15M+ more to beat DH2 so it's definitely possible. Yeah, once the numbers started coming in and $100M seemed possible, I can understand feeling a slight letdown that it didn't get there.
