Hey, I'm the one who helped you get most of your oscars this year and most of the categories that Mushishi was in I voted for. Don't forsake me or next year won't be all cakes and rainbows for you *dramatic music*.

Come over to my side? (You cost me like 2 oscars   :P )

And Part 1 of the First Quarter of Year 9 will begin at some point Friday evening, EST.

Can't wait. At least I don't have much work to do. Only need to write Samara and ice DesertAlready wrote peace at last, the Tudors and tortoise run (and horror house 2 and Moses as well)

I'm definitely very excited. Year 9 is going to be the big comeback year for this game.

Alfred is coming back as well. He assumed we would use his films posted in the original Year 8 thread for Year 8 2.0, but we didn't so we'll have those films from him at the minimum.

Thought I might post some interesting tidbits about this year's Oscars.

[*]Starcraft Brood War is the most nominated film not to win anything this year, with 7 nominations. Ironically, the second highest (or at least one of the two) was also a Numbers blockbuster, Dragon Age Awakening with 4 nominations. [*]None of the Best Picture nominees won more than 3 awards. In addition, Cinema Studies is the only Best Picture nominee not to win anything. (Sorry Spaghetti)  [*]The Legend of Redwall is the only multi-award nominated film to win everything it was nominated for (although it drew for Best Voice Actor) (Again, sorry Spaghetti) [*]The biggest points total for a single category was Mushishi in Best Visual Effects, with 34 points.  [*]The lowest points total for a single category was The Innocent in Best Song, with 10 points.  [*]The biggest points difference between first and second place in a category was a draw between Best Supporting Actor and Best Documentary with 10 points. Ironically, both had the exact same points total for 1st and 2nd place (32 and 22 respectively) [*]The smallest points difference between first and last place goes to Best Picture, where only 5 points separated all the competitors.  [*]The Guardian of the West is the only Oscar Winner not to be nominated in at least 3 categories.

StarCraft: Queen of Blades in Year 11 will rectify that!

Dragon Age: Exodus in Year 12 or 13 as well!
