After it's 2nd weekend, Cap2 got better weekdays thanks to upcoming Easter.

So it's mon-thu were 3.46 + 4.72(+36.5%) + 3.52(-25.4%) +  4.3(+22.5%) 

it's thu-to-thu and friday-to-friday declines from previous week were 26.7% and 5.8% respectively.

 

So DoFP's summer weekdays advantage won't be there this week. Next week too Cap2 Monday easter was strong, just 52% down from Sunday. So DoFP should do better on weekdays than Cap2 only from next Tuesday onwards but obviously with smaller numbers.

Would be something if X could start to have those small week to week drops.

going to be hard with EoT and TF4 coming out later

 

TF4 for sure. I didn't realize all these movies were opening in June. No breathing room for any of them. But I guess that's the way of summer. I thought last year was jam packed.

It slows after july starts if I recall. But yeah may-june this year is/was packed

yeah 500m should be fine, unless it completely tanks in japan / china for some reason

 

it opens in China next week right? Should get a good gross from there. Not sure about Japan. They only have eyes for Frozen right now. Don't know when that train will run out of steam.

Godzilla's on 175 dom  + 200m os.

will make about 20m more dom.

had a 15m os weekend. so should add 25-30m without china.

will take it to 420-425m. will need 75-80m from china + japan to touch 500m so should cross it easily imo.

550m seems out of reach. will end below kong ww...something i was not expecting..and kong made just 12m in china as it was still a growing market.

Canada wkend BO

 1-Malef (only +10% over DOFP), 2-DOFP (-50%), 3-AMW

So Maleficent underperformed relative to the US in Australia, Canada the UK and New Zealand.

I think Tele is ok by comparison.

Not surprised to see my local theater up there. Theater was pretty crowded on Saturday when I was leaving at around 2pm.
