I'm still iffy on that. 2009 ended in a big way with hits left right and centre, and I'm not quite sure that 2012 will maintain that pace, because it's already behind 2009.

Summer 2013 already looked less impressive on paper than summer 2012. It would be difficult for it to fail to meet my expectations, especially since one could speculate on the shooting's impact the last month.

Next summer doesnt look so great only 1 400m+ grosser (IM3) and aside from Pacific rim it doesnt look like there will be any big breakouts

lol. Iron Man 3 is not making $400m. I see why so many movies are labelled disappointing, but so many times, the wrong movies are.
