So I did some things a bit differently from the Oscar game since I wanted to go with a more boring prediction here. I hope my Picture and Actor predictions don't come true which is kinda ironic since I would like Keaton to win Actor :D Birdman not winning Picture would also mean Budapest winning Original Screenplay.

Give credit to Grantland for bringing this up BUT insane non diversity at he Oscars this year, 20 acting nominations, 20 Caucasians. Thoughts guys & girls (also suffering from so many male dominated movies) In 2015?

Tells me that black people need to step up their game. Seriously though, there's been plenty of snubs this year and there isn't really that many non white actors that have exceptional performances in oscar bate movies this year. I haven't seen Selma so I can't judge on the David Oyelowo's performance but I can say that I think he's been a pretty average actor in everything else I've seen him in. I thought he was poor on ROTPOTA, very poor in fact and he wasn't that great in the small role he had in Interstellar. The guy makes it seem obvious that he's reading a script but who knows, maybe he's improves greatly since then but I doubt it.

These lack of diversity articles are just click bait making the academy look racist when in reality it's just a coincidence.

Minorities are still at a disadvantage towards leading roles as long as producers/directors are still 90%+ white males, whether that is intentional or not. Takes a lot of time I understand but still needs to be discussed, women & non white males always deserve better.
