Honestly, a gross of $145m is about as good as you could hope for a Mad Max film in this day and age. It had a fine run, and it was more than a fine movie.

I love both of them despite preferring Kingsman, and hopefully this will give studios more confidence in such fare.

Spy definitely would have benefited from a Memorial Day OW. Jurassic World is going to nuke its 2nd weekend hold and by the time it should start developing late legs, Ted 2 and Magic Mike XXL will take away the comedy audiences and the older female demo.
