Looking at the worst pic nominations, all I can think is, jesus, I saw really obscure bad films this year. I mean JW??? That wouldn't even make my top twenty worst films of the year, and I actually enjoyed that film.

Sadness is the hero of the year. A character which you find annoying at first, growing on you as you realise the importance of that emotion, and how it's OK for a kid to be sad. She really resonated with families, and the entire film is built around her.

I'm honestly shocked at the lack of IO love in the best hero category in general. I thought Joy or Sadness were a shoo-in.
