Another 6% drop (roughly), great day!

This leaves it sitting at $628 million after today. TFA officially passes The Avengers today. It's now $25 million from Jurassic World, $30 million from Titanic and $132 million from Avatar! JW and Titanic will be passed on Friday, Avatar should go down by Tuesday at the latest!

In fairness, Avatar increased 1% on its 2nd Wednesday. It's good but not great IMO if we are looking for $1b+ benchmarks.

I think we have come to a point...realistically, where there aren't enough cinema goers to go to the theater. in past movies movies were CRAWLING at this time...but this is still doing 28 million on weekdays...i mean this is at 628million, 628!!!! in 13 days! the pinnacle is gone and its downhill from here. while it goes down it will go past Avatar and aim for 900+ Million which all things considered is an improbable task for 99% of blockbusters for the next 10 years

Yes, everyone knows Avatar's holds will be better. For a movie that's already made $600 million, I think a 6% day to day decrease on day 13 is great.

You're going to need 300 blockbusters to get released in the next 10 years for that percentage to hold up.

If discount Tuesday is as big as some like @Baumer Fett are saying it isn't great sorry you disagree. Based on yesterday's hold, not to mention those who used bad weather as a major excuse for Sunday-Monday as well.
