a2k
Last Tuesday's bump for BVS was 28.1%. So at par with that. Wed should drop 25-30% for 1.3-1.4m. Previous 2 Thursdays it dropped 4%. Could drop 10%(1.15-1.25m) this time due to TJB's previews.

It's what we (as in my theatre as well as other theatres with discount Tuesday's) call a "Tuesday movie." Movies like the Boss (R rated comedies) tend to have massive Tuesday jumps. Basically, films aimed at adults have larger Tuesday jumps than usual.

seduh
Good number for Zootopia. I hope it can make a $9 seven weekend. It will finish with around $330-340 (round Minions, even if it opens $40 less and in March when weekdays for animated movies are much smaller).

BVS dropped 4% for the last 2 Thursdays. With TJB starting on Thursday evening/night, it will not have a better hold than last Thursday's -4%. Close to -10% imo.
