MrHardapple
Hacksaw Ridge will start its worldwide run in Australia and some other countries November 3rd. Curious to see how the film will do outside the US. At least in Australia (it was shot there and most actors are from Down Under), it should do pretty well. Purple Minion
Comscore reports $9,320,000 OS up to Sunday for a WW total of $52,174,292.
el sid
Funny, I planned to post the chart yesterday too but wanted to wait till the last weekend in France is added. It's still not added but with around 106k admissions that should have been around 750US$ counted with Sunday. Counted with Monday and Tuesday HR had 129.857 admissions / 346.330 total (source: jpbox-office.com). Even better, Cine-directors.net predicts that HR will hold very well over the next week with again 100k admissions (projection based on the Wednesday/yesterday admissions). So according to BOM (probably with some small countries Comscore didn't count) HR collected around 9.5M OS so far + the past weekends in France, Poland, UAE and Greece. Very early summarized the movie had several very decent starts (Australia, UAE, not bad in France) and some muted ones (Russia e.g.). But I didn't see one single country where it didn't have a fine hold. Means I'm very optimistic that it will do better OS than I expected it. Either BOM added accidently a result from another film and corrected it later or it adjusted exchange rates (e.g. China's exchange rate was dropping recently, I didn't check on for this week) or (I guess that might be the right one) they added at first the newly released China number, but as the date of it's earning was after the 4 December (OS total as of 4 Dec.) that I had posted 17 hours earlier in the China forum: China Box Office @ChinaBoxOffice HACKSAW RIDGE debuted with ¥17.55M ($2.55M) just edging out Japan's YOUR NAME ($2.5M/$55.8M total) for the top spot on Thurs @hacksawridge
