Mechanic, Transporter, Hitman were

Well, that is true.

Sing's opening is very disappointing, tho. Kids movies tend to do extremely well here. The movie will have strong legs until the end of the holidays, but the OW will be way below what I was expecting.

Why are they still flogging this dead horse???

This is beyond beating a dead horse at this point.

Maybe next time try to make your movie look appealing, Sony? That would be a good idea.

Was Rules Don't Apply pulled? Nothing in theatre counts: http://www.boxofficemojo.com/counts/chart/?yr=2016&wk=50&p=.htm Was looking forward to seeing how high it placed on worst drops ever list...

not sure, it's only out since 15 days... but as a possibility for a no:

if they didn't release the details, websites like BOM can not post them (see actuals of smaller releases not getting posted every weekday or in time)

Sing is underperforming big time here. It opened here today, a holiday, and it was barely first place against Moana, which started his 3rd weekend here today.

hopefully this means Moana wouldn't take the hit  too hard by Sing during Christmas in NA, either. I'll happily take anything more or less than TS2.

TS2 is what it is trending towards. This weekend will also be about the same as TS2's 3rd weekend, the 4th weekend and the 21st are crucial for it and will let us know where it ends up. Still wondering why most people expected Frozen level numbers from Moana before release.

Well, in fairness, WDAS's previous movie was a mini-Frozen. You just had to connect the dots.
