rb02
I'm glad this is bombing. It might make even less than John Carter WW. It's not bombing. The budget is 150M. The WW totals will be at a minimum over 300M; and probably well over 300M. Probably close to 350M; perhaps over. No movie in history can be deemed a bomb, when the WW doubles the budget. It's impossible. It's like calling a movie with a WW total, which fails to match the budget, a hit. It's logically impossible.

CassLX
uh..... no.It opened to about the same as JC domestic and abroad. This is a sequel so it will have worse legs than JC. Since JC was touted as a megabomb, this (in light of its slightly less but still huge budget) will just be a bomb. Fake
It opened to about the same as JC domestic and abroad. This is a sequel so it will have worse legs than JC. Since JC was touted as a megabomb, this (in light of its slightly less but still huge budget) will just be a bomb.1. WOTT had a slightly bigger opening than JC in markets other than China.2. In China, it has holidays to help its 2nd week, and hence will end up with a higher total.3. It has Easter holidays this week, which will considerably boost its gross.4. It has basically no competition for 4-5 weeks, whereas JC had THG and COTT to deal with.In summary, WOTT wil finish around $50M higher than JC overseas. Tower
Wrath of the Titans/Clash of the Titans OW comparison in Asian markets Mixed bag in Asia. That Israel number isn't nearly as bad as it looks since Wrath is being released before 3 weeks of school holidays (for Passover) so it should hold much better than Clash which was released after Passover. rb02
It opened to about the same as JC domestic and abroad. This is a sequel so it will have worse legs than JC. Since JC was touted as a megabomb, this (in light of its slightly less but still huge budget) will just be a bomb."Slightly" less? Try 100M less. That 100M difference in budget (assuming the two movie end up with equal grosses) is not the diference between a megabomb and bomb. It is the difference between megabomb and minor success, albeit still a disappointment compared to expectation. Unless, of course, you can provide a credible reason as to why a movie, which will double its budget, and then some, can be considered a bomb.
