DealWithIt
The complaints about Batman in BvS still make me laugh. Oh no he killed someone! It's just like every other big screen version of him, except here they weren't afraid to show him actually doing it. Unless people actually think the violent beatdowns we've seen him give the nameless goons over the years didn't leave those goons at best brain dead. Or the Michael Keaton Batman who strapped a bomb to a guys chest and was shown smiling about it as he kicked the guy over the edge and the bomb went off. Batman has always killed people. Audiences just choose to pretend these people he's killed were able to walk off the violent beatings they received.

Thus, why many people appreciated the villains more than the "Batmen" in those movies...I think I talked about my opinion of the Michael Keaton Batman last week - good Bruce Wayne, not good Batman - 1st movie saved by awesome Jack Nicholson Joker... Batman, at his best, should be the brilliant determined aloof detective...the "pure human" on the team who finds his place by seeing what the gods on the team can't see...the guy who keeps them all honest (b/c he can stop them), the guy with all the money and the toys...and truly, the guy who values human life above all others b/c he's had it taken from him, 1st with his parents and then with Jason...that brings him darkness that he keeps at bay with his vow to never kill...that's Batman... Losing that "no kill" vow is losing an essential part of Batman...it's like losing Spiderman's "with great power comes great responsibility" understanding from Uncle Ben... wileECoyote
Fantastic week over week holds for WW, Pirates 5 and GotG2. But not unexpected because of more schools being out for Summer. It'll be interesting to see how the latter 2 hold due to TC loss. WW showing some ridiculous holds but I'm not too sure about sub 40 weekend drop yet. Wouldn't surprise me though. Great run so far. He actually did in Batman 89' He clearly has the opportunity to let the Joker Escape and get the girl to safety. https://youtu.be/_xF0ekZztOA Not saying Ras' also counts as death on his hands as it is a heroes duty to save those in need and Batman didn't on purpose. In The Dceu ,Maybe The Joker Has always gotten away as he does in the Comics. Edited June 16, 2017 by Brainiac5
setna
If WW makes 389 million will get the best multipler all time of a movie opening with 100 million+, dethroning TFA, this will be such an amazing feat!!!

There's still many other versions and stories of the Character to be told. I see nothing bad out of BVS being the very reason for his "No kill code" ,However the Dialogue between Bruce and Alfred clearly states that he's out of character in the sense of this story and it's not like him to be doing this. I think this is a good plot point of the story many have glossed over. The whole point of Superman Dying (Selfless act)was for Batman to see that this world Needs heroes and not vigilantes with personal agendas. Batman himself saw that he is supposed to be a symbol Of heroism and not Fear or Death. From the whole Martha to Superman Dying was his Intervention. This is the very same Effect IM has in the MCU so I see no reason why it wouldn't be the same for the Dceu. Its universe building each film helps out the other by sharing its fans and it's good will. WW making more than 350dom while opening to only 103mil(3x+) Just have JL an incredible boost as many were Very interested in the JL trailer before It's showing. They all its connection plus it's a Holiday release which will make it even bigger. The weight from BVS has just been lifted as the public now Sees JL the next Story that involves Wonder Woman a phenomenon in the Domestic market . Now if JL was more than a Year Away and then The Dceu dropped another divisive story before then I would agree with you.
