So...

Matt Damon appears about 95 minutes into the movie. There's still another 70 minutes.

The docking and Gargantua scene is rather marvelous stuff as well.

Character motivations make no sense

The bookshelf shit is very convoluted

It makes the film's pacing come to a screeching halt

I legitimately think it's the most intense thing I've ever seen on the big screen.

The great thing about Christopher Nolan is that he's still pretty young. Only 46 years old. We could feasibly still be watching a brand new Nolan film a hundred years from now.

In other words, these Interstellar debates are here forever.

There are still 6 months to go before I get the lists in for Best of 2017, but most likely Dunkirk will end up #1. Don't think too many movies will be able to gather the steam that a well received Nolan movie will have.

It's pretty obvious. If TDKR and Interstellar won, so will this.

eh... I kinda think maybe it won't. I dunno. maybe it's my bias of it not being my number one. But I could see Get Out or some late year releases potentially beating it
