The weekly formula I use is weekend gross times 1.2-1.3 during regular weekdays and 1.4-1.5 during summer (second week of June until mid-August), exactly what number I use depends heavily on the movie (films geared towards young audiences tend to have weaker weekdays outside of summer). Then I just keep adding each week until the movie falls out of the top 10 and I do a rough estimate on the rest of the run based on its past trajectory with accounting for dollar theater expansions and possible studio fudging.
