I've always enjoyed driving through Pennsylvania. Even as an Ohioan I have to begrudgingly accept that Pittsburgh is pretty nice.

There are 37 summits above 2,900M in New Zealand. I thought you were above Fake News, Tele.

all but one (Mount Aspiring) are within a 10-mile radius of Aoraki / Mount Cook.

"Prominence" is the stat you want if you're looking for the most towering, photogenic mountains. Only Mt. Cook and Mt. Aspiring have one over 5000 feet.

To be fair, there are a lot of other gorgeous mountains here that don't quite make the 2900M cutoff but have the prominence you're looking for.
