My wife hates Hershey's and the weird aftertaste that chocolate leaves in the mouth. Hershey's pretty much manufacture most of the chocolates in the US including Cadbury's which again explains the awfulness.

Cadbury used to be pretty good here but they shut down the factory they had in NZ and now it's all imported from Aus so it's pretty garbo now. Whittakers stands strong though. Excellent chocolate.

I grew up eating Hershey's so I'm pretty much used to that being the standard in America.

 

It's not the best.
