I’m kind of against reserved seating for anything that isn’t a big tentpole.  Like, if it’s for Star Wars or Thor, then sure.  If it’s for something like Just Getting Started, then what’s the point?

Who wants to show up 20-30 minutes early to get a good seat (unless the movie's a flop or been out a bit)? Nobody. Literally nobody.

I suppose I'm fine with reserved seating if there's enough seats to accommodate everyone, but it becomes a bit of a problem when my reserved seating's theater's largest auditorium just barely has 100 seats and most have around 60-70.

When I saw Three Billboards a couple weeks ago at a non-reserved theater, I arrived 20 minutes early and BARELY managed to get a seat that wasn't by the aisles or in the nosebleed section. It's so much more relaxing knowing your seat is booked and showing up 10 minutes before showtime.
