I put The Boss Baby on for the little one a few weeks ago on Netflix. Didn't watch it but from what I could tell he really enjoyed it (he's 3 so...).

I really hate that I have to use that movie to make this point, but that's a possible situation that makes me resist the idea of having kids. Serious cognitive dissonance going on here.

when you have kids watching a movie is usually more about getting the kiddo to stfu for 2 hours than watching the movie. so i hear from my parent friends

Still, you're giving money to it. I know that's not much of a concern for parents but it is to me as a film buff.

 

I did give the MLP Movie money but at least it was a pittance; granted T-Mobile probably footed most of the bill. I want to hold out hope for a Ouija situation.

I don't care about giving MLP money... why would I? It's the chance to see my son have some fun and get to be with some friends (both him and me). There wasn't any downside no matter what I thought of the movie.

I still don't know when my son will finally get his first taste of the theatrical experience. Maybe Toy Story 4 or Frozen 2.

I know. Since I don't have kids I don't have to think about that and can make paying for good movies my top priority.

For most children, their first film is almost always a Disney/Pixar film.
