A Dog‘s Journey is the sequel to A Dog’s Purpose. Based on the bestselling series by author W. Bruce Cameron, pic directed by Gail Mancuso, follows a dog who finds the meaning of his own existence through the lives of the humans he teaches to laugh and love. Gavin Polone produces, Cameron & Cathryn Michon and Wally Wolodarsky & Maya Forbes adapt. Walden Media is a co-producer here. Pic faces off on its May date next year against Lionsgate’s John Wick: Chapter Three, and Warner Bros.’ The Sun Is Also a Star.
