It actually could drop harder than last weekend. Doubt it. We don't even know if Meg will pull 30m this weekend, so the competition is light. RN dropped 39% in weekend 3 and that actually was going against a huge new release in Straight Outta Compton and a direct spy competitor in UNCLE (even though it didn't do much). And even losing 500 theaters, it will still be in a few hundred more than RN at the same point. Edited August 9, 2018 by MovieMan89

To put that into perspective, that's more than the next three studios (Universal, WB and Fox) combined. Speaking of Fox, on July 27 "shareholders of the Walt Disney Company and 21st Century Fox agreed to a $71.3 billion purchase plan", which means James Cameron's next four Avatar films now fall under the Disney banner along with the likes of the X-Menfranchise and other Fox-owned Marvel properties. Thanks for the distribution Disney, leave everything else to me. Oh yeah by the way, i'll be taking 30% of the gross and the biggest paycheck for a director of all time. dxmatrixdt
Mi: Fallout lost 500 more theaters than I expected. The tentpoles probably are in some of the more exotic theater spots, and then get replaced by something else after 2 weeks. Still, Id think Mi6 would still take partial showings at those venues.
