Jonwo
I find it strange that WWZ has opened advanced booking already. I didn't think it would be a film with that kind of fanbase. I think Monsters University booking should theoretically be opening in the next couple of weeks, and then that'll be it on the advance front until Thor most likely.Does anyone have any idea how Man of Steel is looking at a non BFI IMAX cinema at this point?I think Pacific Rim could get advanced bookings but I agree that Thor and Catching Fire will be the next advance bookings films. I can see IMAX pre-booking for Pac Rim, but not so sure about standard cinemas.
SchumacherFTW
Speaking of my last post, BFI IMAX has opened booking for Pacific Rim. Looking pretty brisk at the moment. Come on 5m OW!

SchumacherFTW
I think it has a good shot at 5, but we'll see closer to release probably.
Heretic
I wonder what MoS's gonna do. Superman Returns did quite well with £16m back in 2006. With inflation and 3D that'd be well over £20m now. I think £25-30m is possible. As for Pacific Rim, I don't see more than £15m.

PhilipJ2001
any word on Behind The Candelabra?
Heretic
That was doing really well at my local cinema, actually. More busy than AE for sure, but obviously that has way more show times, and is a much wider release.
PhilipJ2001
it only had a limited release this week (120 cinemas) but i'd be interested to see the per screen average.. we're getting loads of requests for it. after earth has been really quiet unsurprisingly. JCS
AE at #1 with $3.5M or £2.3M weekend. Big drop next weekend and won't get close to £10M even for a Will Smith film...
