SchumacherFTW
It'll be tough for it to expand much next week, fingers crosses for the week after.

The Toymaker
BOM is weird sometimes:TE2 Sep 9 cume: £5,938,099TE2 Sep 16 cume: £5,933,666It cannot possibly lose money in local currency. That's an impossibility, but it happens with BOMs totals all the time.

The Toymaker
That makes no sense. How can an exchange rate change affect the local currency. BOM gets the UK grosses in £, then it converts them into $ itself.Anyway, lets forget that. Do you or anybody have the real GBP gross for TE2 as of Sep 16? SchumacherFTW
Well it was pretty much out of cinemas from Sept 7th so I doubt it changed much.

Not even in the Top 20 so perhaps even less than that.Unless BOM receives the grosses in $, already pre-converted.
The Toymaker
That's an idea, but I can't see them getting the grosses already converted. Ah well, no big deal, dollar grosses are what I care about most, but I thought there may have been some way to get the local currency gross too, you know, considering the gross was made in that currency. SchumacherFTW
After seeing Paranorman today, I think it could take top spot this weekend. About 180 people there for the 3D show. And a big mix of people too. Edited September 23, 2012 by Schumacher FTW

Heretic
I imagine most films held well. I don't think I've seen a worse day weather-wise since last winter. It was actually horrific.

Jonwo
Killing them Softly did okay considering that it's 18 rated. Paranorman benefits from the fact it's good and not much competition until October.
Heretic
That gross for Paranorman would be an increase on the 3 day weekend last week.
The Toymaker
Pretty boring numbers back in Blighty.
SchumacherFTW
Epic to see that I was right about Paranorman. Aparently while I was in Paranorman we had a massive lightning storm in the town I live in so I can understand a big uptick in business.
