Jonwo
£20m seems a bit high considering its only being released in IMAX and no 3D, maybe DH1 numbers rather than DH2 numbers.
SchumacherFTW
I wouldn't count out £20m until we have some form of Friday number, but it just FEELS possible. I'm not saying it'll happen, but this feels bigger than any Bond has before. But I think DH1 is the low end this weekend.
Fake
QoS opened with £15.8m if I am not mistaken.I am gonna get a big crazy here and say £20m OW/ £60m total.

Heretic
If it opens to £20m, I think £65m would definitely be possible. Especially with the WOM this is going to get. It has everything going for it.
SchumacherFTW
I hate that i'm not getting caught up in the OW hysteria, I have to wait until Fri 2nd Nov before I can see it. I haven't seen a film on OD since TDKR and on Opening Night since This Means War!

JCS
There's no way it doesn't gross another £1.2m coming off of an £18.8m 17-day run.I was joking.
JCS
Some great predictions here for Skyfall OW and total.DH1 opened with £18.3M so if Skyfall can get near that, it would be immense!I am still thinking £17M roughly, maybe a bit more. Slightly pessimistic and realistic. Edited October 22, 2012 by JCS

SchumacherFTW
Why's that?I'm not see it OD...Most likely Sunday. I made a promise to my other half that i'd see it first with her, so I have to wait until the second fri, but hey, means we can do a double bill with Argo. That number for PA4 is laughable, is there a chance that Sinister will outgross it here? Jonwo
HT held up okay, should be able to do £10m with half term coming up. Frankenweenie did terrible as did PA4.
SchumacherFTW
Ouch, within the space of 8 days PA4 is going from 2 screens to a single showing per day. TAAAAAAAAANK!!!!!! Madagascar's got the same number of shows as the last two weekends, but now an even split between 2D and 3D. Skyfall's on two screens all day, and a third during the evening. Taken's actually gaining a show per day on what it had this weekend, look for a good hold as the alternative to Sold Out Skyfall shows. I wonder how my local compares with you guys. Heretic
Glasgow Cineworld has almost 80 shows for Skyfall! I think it's going to be on around 5 or 6 screens at my two closest odeons. They should have a show every 20-30 minutes until midnight.

I counted 25 per day at Renfrew Street, Crawley's getting 26 per day including IMAX.That's nuts though, i'm actually jealous that you get cinemas that big. And then it had over 30 shows per day, with most of them selling out. Fucking crazy weekend. But, for some reason, I think it would be so fun working at the cinema for big releases like that. SchumacherFTW
I'd love to try it, working under that kind of pressure would be interesting. Also, Sheffield Cineworld has exactly 80 shows for the weekend by my count. Edited October 22, 2012 by Schumacher FTW
Heretic
The atmosphere must be pretty great. I imagine working on a Monday afternoon in the middle of September must be incredibly boring, so when there's a big release, at least you're actually doing things.
