SchumacherFTW
I wish my local cineworld had picked it up. They got all the other rereleases, but decided on Red Lights this week instead.
PhilipJ2001
Rock of Ages did an estimated £1.04m. I assume that is the 5 day take. Pretty terrible.
yads
That is terrible. But it has to have good legs. Based on Mamma Mia's success clearly there's an audience for this stuff.

yads
I can't find Mamma Mia's opening weekend in the UK, but I'm guessing it wasn't great.

yads
Mamma Mia was a monster in the UK.It was, but it had crazy legs because of people going again and again. It was basically Titanic for post-menopausal women.
PhilipJ2001
yeah mamma mia was big from the beginning and stayed big.i remember it had a thursday advance screening and it sold out at my cinema and then proceeded to sell out nearly every show for about 6 weeks. biggest film we've ever had here. Jonwo
Mamma Mia! Had insane legs, I saw it late into its run and it was still busy. RoA I doubt will have the same success.

Heretic
Mamma Mia was an absolute beast. Nothing comes close in ticket sales (Excluding Avatar) since probably LOTR.MIB3 held very well again, despite the euro. Could do $35m in the end, which is brilliant.SW had a good hold too on pace for over $20m.
Heretic
Prometheus on $30m meaning it made $6m this past week. With no competition for a couple of weeks now, it could leg its way to $40m, but it may fall a little short.
