Thank you for this; I was pretty worried that me not putting in predictions was holding actuals back for some reason. Between this and "3.0 ends in Y11," I don't have a clue where I get my generalizations.

Ezen Baklattan
That would be HORRIBLE for Forgiveness. Chastain, Scott (from her in game world) and Theron would have more than enough star power to get it higher, and the lack of more female appealing films in the year plus the strong reviews will help it. Are you using Tully as a comp? Because that was in like 35% of the theatres Forgiveness is in.

Eh, this has better reviews, a less congested release date, and a more accessible premise/concept. I can see low teens for it but anything else would just be godawful, tbh. Some of these are honestly kinda off the charts. And Our Brand is Crisis was a poorly received late October dump job that released in two thirds of the theaters Forgiveness is in. I don’t see how they’re comparable. Edited October 21, 2019 by cookie

I increased Forgiveness. Next time I do predictions, I'll pay more attention to the theater counts.

It has basically everything going for it — liked first film, better reviews so far, only two year gap, prime release date, no major action film since at least Thermal, nearly all of May to itself outside of Green Arrow and a pretty lackluster June. Losing a third of its audience on OW would be implausible IMO. Edited October 21, 2019 by cookie
