JB33
According to BOP, this is going wide right off the hop: That's pretty cool actually. I hope it's a small hit!
Joel M
Most surprising thing is that it tries to match the original's tone. I thought they would go for a more sundance dramedy vibe considering who writes it. I hope at least the actors can make it worth a bit. I'm very much looking forward to the dynamic between Dreyfuss and Farrell! Again, glad this is going wide.
Curtis1986
This is looking like a major flop
dudalb
Getting througly ripped by the critics;which pretty much is a death sentence for this kind of film. I love Julia Louis Dreyfuss, but she seems to be not very good at picking film projects. Edited February 14, 2020 by dudalb

Actually, one of the main criticisms of the movie is that it waters down the Swedish original.
BoxOfficeFangrl
lmao... I feel like I've barely heard about this, surprised it's opening in so many theaters.

Which is a sign the studio decided not to spend much money on marketing, which is a sign the studio knew it has a turkey on it's hands Sad, since I really like Julia Louis Dreyfuss a lot.
Blaze Heatnix
It could get an F CinemaScore if the PostTrak info ( half star ) is for real.

If not F, I can't see it higher than a C or C-
RichWS
It's a decent cable movie; JLD is pretty good.
JB33
What the hell? I thought this had potential to be fun, though I should really know better. I still want to see it but if it's cable movie quality then streaming it is.
Maxmoser3
The title of the film defines how the Fox studio and Will Ferrell’s career is heading towards a “Downhill” slope.
JB33
12% audience score on RT now. It's never good when the audience score is below the RT rating, when that is low to begin with (currently 39%). Come on Will.
