Now that may sound well or Trivial but IMO this could be sign of frontloading as the ones watching film in premium format would be mostly Nolan heads. Fans can push film only to an extent. Film must do well in regular format/screens i.e. general audience too. I'd imagine this is more likely to be frontloading, though I suppose there's a scenario in these circumstances and due to capacity restrictions + limited showings, this means those going to see Tenet could be waiting for more availability in IMAX before going, which could help the legs stretch out a bit. From the respective threads (or main forum page). France has a shot at 1m admission (would be around 7/8m). Germany 6-7m UK (2/3m opening day possibly, would lead to 9-12ish million) Spain 3m + Ofc everyone want good numbers at to moment (first majoor hollywood movie release, so we might have rose glasses) so these might be on the opimitic side (who knows) but it seems certain that OW will be decent at least. Above estimates (using the low numbers) would put it at $25m. So the low end should be around $18m OW for these markets, high end $30m. if it can make 30 million from 4 markets alone on ow, that would be very very good
john2000
so the progress so far https://gower.st/articles/road-to-recovery-new-feature-global-regional-growth-trackers-cinemas-open/ The latest set of regional growth trackers, below (featured on page 5 of this week’s International Road To Recovery report), shows that 65% of global cinemas by market share are now back in operation. This is up from 55% the previous week. More are expected to come online for Warner Bros’ international (and Canadian) launch of Christopher Nolan’s TENET this week. and for dom In total Gower Street estimates that 38% of theaters across the entire Domestic market were operating at the weekend, representing nearly 37% of normal market share. While that number may still sound low it is a vast improvement on the previous weekend when 25% of theaters were open, representing less than 19% of market share. thats from previous weekend wioth 1823 theaters open, this week there will be 2300 theaters open so i think that by this weeks end around 50% of movie theaters dom will be open Edited August 26, 2020 by john2000 1

In Australia, Dunkirk made 4.7m OW and Interstellar did 3.6m. In UK, Dunkirk made 13m OW and Interstellar with 8.5m. 2.5m-3m OW in Australia and 7-8m in UK should already be good imo. Let's see if it can goes higher. Edited August 26, 2020 by RJ 95

You mean $50mn weekend right? well for $50mn weekend, I think $13mn OD is must i.e 90mn yuan. Will roughly need 30mn final PS. First day of PS is not really that important, final 2-3 are. That said over 1mn would be enough, TENET looks like going for 1.5mn PS on day 1 today. 4
